The Gospel of John (Part 2) | Feeding the 5,000 and Walking on Water | August 02, 2026
Sermon Description:
One of the more famous and recognizable miracles of Jesus is when He fed 5,000 people. But what people might miss is that this is not a one-off event, actually. Long before Jesus fed the crowds, God did the exact same three things for a desperate, wandering people fleeing slavery — and the connections are not a coincidence. This message traces the ancient story of Exodus straight into John 6 to show that whatever you're facing right now — an impossible situation, a nagging sense of being alone, or a season where nothing seems to be growing — deliverance, presence, and provision aren't just historical events. They're patterns of a God who still shows up.
