Pastoral Residency
Silicon Valley is the most unreached city in America (less than 8% identify themselves as followers of Jesus) and we believe there is a unique opportunity ahead of us to see lives transformed in the name of Jesus for the good of all. WestGate Church exists to equip and train men and women as they step into their God-given calling. If you sense God’s invitation to vocational ministry, we would love to partner with you in gaining hands-on ministry experience and mentorship at WestGate Church.
Who this is for:
Discerning a pastoral calling and ministry
Various roles such as church planting, campus pastors, kids/students, worship, missions…
Looking to learn and grow in ministry experiences

Soulcare: Therapy & Spiritual Direction
Coaching and mentorship
There is no financial stipend but you may raise support through our nonprofit status (tax-exempt)
Time Commitment:
18-24 months with the opportunity to renew
20 hours a week: weekly staff & team meetings, inner work through mentorship/therapy/spiritual direction, required readings and assignments, and personal/professional ministry and development opportunities
