In 2010, a performance artist named Marina Abramović sat silently across from strangers at the MOMA for three months — no words, no advice, no fixing — just sitting with people. And people wept. In a world of distraction and noise, we are starving for genuine presence. And not only that, somehow, simple presence is healing to us. And in this talk, we examine a rather obscure moment In the Old Testament in which a man named Ezekiel has a profound experience that reveals that God has been pursuing that same connection with humanity all along.
