The Gospel of John | Behold the Lamb | April 19, 2026
Sermon Description:
In John 1, 19-51, we see a repeated invitation: “Come and see.” This passage isn’t just recounting events—it’s inviting us to slow down, pay attention, and truly behold Jesus. At its core, discipleship is not about doing more, but about fixing our eyes on Him in a way that transforms us from the inside out.
Through these first encounters, we’re invited to examine what we’re really seeking and how we respond—whether with curiosity, shame, distraction, or longing. The gap we often feel with God isn’t the end of it all; it’s an invitation to deeper connection, trust, and intimacy.
