Vine & Branches: A Study in John 15 | Week 2 – The Pain of Pruning | August 03, 2025

Sermon Description:

What if the hard things you're facing aren't punishment—but pruning? In John 15, Jesus shares a powerful metaphor that God is the Gardener, and He lovingly cuts back every fruitful branch so it can bear even more fruit. Pruning hurts—but it’s one of the most personal and hope-filled signs of God’s care.  In a world chasing more, better, faster—pruning often looks like less.  Less noise. Less striving. Less of what doesn't last. And in the end, God's pruning is not random pain, but strategic, loving formation—crafted just for you and I.

SPEAKERS:

Christina Papoulias (Saratoga), David Tieche (South Hills)
