All In — Week 5

This week Steve talks about some of the great contrasts in the early church. We see them in great unity, doing signs and wonders, and not long after, in division and hypocrisy. What lessons can we learn and how do we stay focused on the central message of the risen Christ?

This week, WestGate Church lead pastor Steve Clifford talks about some of the great contrasts in the early church. We see them in great unity, doing signs and wonders.  Then, not long after, they are split in division and hypocrisy. And in Acts 5, we watch as God strikes down a married couple named Ananias and Sapphira for pretending to be more generous than they were.  Crazy stuff. What lessons do these bizarre (and frightening) stories offer us about what it means to live life with God?

Digging Deeper

Sunnyvale Campus Worship Pastor Corinna Girard stops by to talk with Liz and Dave about the *incredibly* uncomfortable story in Acts 5 where God kills Ananias and Sapphira. Is God reverting back to his Old Testament wrath-filled ways? Or is something else going on here?
