The area in YELLOW is the approved point of access for the C Building while under construction.

Questions

The elevated walkways surrounding the C Building and the pedestrian bridge connecting Buildings B and C have reached the end of their functionality and now require replacement. This has been a long-planned project that is now possible thanks to the generosity of those who faithfully give at WestGate.

Replacement of the elevated walkways
Replacement of the pedestrian bridge
Exterior painting of the C Building
Additional improvements as needed throughout construction

Construction is expected to begin on Monday August 24th, 2026.

Construction is expected to continue through the month of November.
We'll continue to provide updates if the timeline changes.

Yes.
Because of the nature of the repairs, access to the upper level of the C Building will be unavailable throughout construction.
Lower-level classrooms will remain available during evening ministry programming with modified access routes and schedules.

Many of our ministries will be affected by the repairs, however we recognize that these specific groups will be more affected by the work than others.

Western Seminary
Some ministries will temporarily meet in alternate classrooms or spaces while construction is underway. These changes to directly impacted ministries have been communicated ahead of time and we will continue providing updates throughout the project.

Weekend worship services in the Worship Center will continue as normal throughout construction.
Our Student services will be temporarily relocated to the Theater. We are working with the Students teams to help make sure this transition is smooth and that the Theater is set up well for their ministry needs.
