Bible Lab :Historical narratives + Wisdom Literature

Join WestGate Church teaching pastor David Tieche as he explores some of the most common - and most difficult questions found in the Old Testament.  Questions like:

• Is God a moral monster for commanding (what seems to be) genocide of the Caananites in the Book of Joshua?  

• Why do the Proverbs seem to imply an easy if/then pattern to life, when it’s clear things are not always that neat or clean?  

• What is up with the Psalms where someone wished they could bash the heads of the enemies’ babies against rocks?  How is that even Christian?  

This interactive lab will give you tools and frameworks to help you when you encounter difficult texts that can leave us bewildered (and honestly, a bit afraid that God might not be too good).

Childcare is available for walkers through 5th grade. ($7 per child)
