In February 2024, we launched the Here to Stay giving campaign.

Together, we set an audacious goal of raising $35 million over two years to invest in three priorities.

First, to strengthen the ongoing ministry of WestGate, helping people of every age and stage learn and live the way of Jesus and experience lives transformed.

Second, to expand our impact beyond our walls by investing more than ever before in local and global missionaries and ministry partners serving in Jesus' name.

Third, to create new physical spaces at our Saratoga and South Hills campuses that better serve both our church and our city, places where people can experience belonging and the hope of Jesus.

Beyond buildings and budgets, every dollar given is an investment in the future, strengthening ministry for those who are here today and creating opportunities for those who are not here yet. That's what it means to be Here to Stay.

Celebration

Over the two years of the Here to Stay campaign, our church family gave more than $26 million in a remarkable expression of faith and generosity. But Here to Stay was never just about a dollar amount, it was about every one of us prayerfully asking God how He was inviting us to participate in His mission. Because thousands of people responded, we've seen hundreds come to faith or recommit their lives to Christ and we've invested a record $5 million beyond our walls to support local and global ministry partners. The greatest legacy of Here to Stay isn't what we raised, it's what God accomplished through a church willing to trust Him together.

With the fundraising phase of Here to Stay complete, we've entered the planning and design phase. Our Board and Here to Stay Leadership Team are prayerfully stewarding the $7.25 million available for capital projects, working with architects, engineers, a project manager, and city officials to refine project scope, budgets, timelines, and permits. Throughout the process, every decision is measured against the original Here to Stay vision: creating spaces that foster connection and belonging, strengthen ministry, and communicate to our community that they are welcome, valued, and deeply loved by God.

  • As we move beyond the giving campaign (starting Sunday, February 8), there are two primary ways to give at WestGate:

    Primary Fund
    This is where we encourage everyone to begin. It supports the daily ministry of WestGate, fuels life change, and helps fund our local and global partners.

    Compassion Fund
    This fund is for gifts given above and beyond your regular tithe. It is designated entirely to go outside our walls—supporting local and global partners and providing benevolence care in times of real need.

    When you tap Give on our website or app, you’ll see both options, along with recurring giving and additional ways to give.

    Important updates to existing giving:

    • One Fund has been renamed Primary Fund — no action needed

    • Loud Fund has been renamed Compassion Fund — no action needed

    • If you previously gave to Benevolence and wish to continue, you’ll need to stop that payment and set up recurring giving to the Compassion Fund

  • We’ll share ongoing updates on our Here to Stay webpage as we move through the planning and design phase.
