At the end of the Lord’s prayer, Jesus tells us to pray that God would “lead us not into temptation” - which sounds a lot like making sure we don’t go into the breakroom when there are donuts in there. But then Jesus finishes saying “deliver us from the evil one.” Wait. What? I thought we were talking about donuts. Who is the evil one? Andy Gridley stops by to talk about why this part of the prayer is jarring to us as modern people - but why it’s really important. Also, David and Andy swap stories as dads of teenage girls. And David discovers that a song from his youth has staying power and resonance with teenage girls more than 20 years later.
