Women, Work, and Faith
It's no surprise that a vast majority of women in the Bay Area today have professional jobs and careers, in addition to managing the many needs and responsibilities they may have at home. The practical realities of the area we live in combined with the unprecedented opportunity today for women to find and secure really diverse and interesting careers means that more women are finding themselves juggling extremely busy schedules and a long list of commitments and requirements of their time. This environment can bring to the surface a whole host of questions and feelings about what "work" means for godly women:
- How do I measure success for myself?
- Is it OK to be ambitious and want to climb the corporate ladder?
- What unique gifts and talents do I bring to the workplace?
- How can God use my gifts to accomplish his purpose in my life?
-What does it look like to integrate my faith and my work?
Join us at WestGate Saratoga campus on Saturday, May 4, from 8:30-11:00 a.m., for a lively conversation with other working women on these topics and more. A light continental breakfast and coffee will be served and childcare will be provided. We hope to see you there!
