Upside Down Kingdom - Week 13

 

One of the most famous moments in the New Testament is the Last Supper.  This final meal of Jesus is one of the most famously celebrated in art and literature - one of the first memes, if you will.  But if we look closely, we’ll see that Jesus was doing infinitely more than simply eating with his friends. He was inhabitating 1500-year-old images, reframing a 1500-year-old history, and showing an awful lot about Himself and what God is really like.
