THE WISE LIFE: Better Decisions, Fewer Regrets

For a lot of folks, there are a lot of unexamined assumptions about the things we do.  Often times, we find ourselves thinking, hey, if it’s not wrong, it’s alright. If it’s not illegal, it’s permissible. If it’s not immoral, it’s acceptable.  If it’s not over the line, it’s fine.  But we also know something else: An option can be both not wrong and unwise at the same time.  Diving into a letter that the Apostle Paul wrote to a church in a very large metropolis called Corinth (which wasn’t very different from the Bay Area, in some ways) we see that Paul addresses this very question of “how to live wisely in a world full of options.”  And using a few simple “rules of wisdom” Paul helps the Corinthians - and us - make wise decisions.
