Vitals:
It was during a summer at Redwood Camp in Mount Hermon that Steve felt the calling to full-time ministry. For 11 years Steve dedicated his life to student ministries at two churches. For three years Steve was in Richmond California and for eight in Morgan Hill. In 2003 Steve received the call to be the pastor at Bernal Road Baptist Church. In 2004 the church became a multi-site of Westgate and Steve joined the staff as its first multi-site pastor. In 2005 Bernal Road Baptist Church became Bernal Bible Church and was launched on Easter 2005. Steve has a psychology degree from Biola University and his M.DIV from Western Seminary. He has an awesome wife Roslyn whom he has been married to since July of 1993. They have two precious children, daughter Kaitlyn born in April 1994 and son Caleb born in September 1996.

A Few of my Favorite Things
Dating my wife- I love planning special times with my best friend. We have a blast together from going to the beach, movies, or hanging out at the mall. I even enjoy arguing with her!

Watching my son compete in gymnastics – I dreamed of coaching my son in baseball but when he chose a sport I knew nothing about it gave me the opportunity to learn and respect a new sport. I love being a cheerleader for my kids.

Helping my daughter with math – This is our time to spend together and I cherish it. Kaitlyn is super social so any time I get with her one-on-one is a favorite thing.

I really like artichokes – Anytime I can get an artichoke on my plate…it’s a favorite thing.
