Vitals

I have pulse! The beaches of Half Moon Bay to the mountains of Nevada City, to this wonderful valley has been my play ground my whole life. I accepted Christ into my life in High School, and as it sometimes happens I swayed away for a bit.

Early on in coming to know the Lord I have had the desire to serve overseas. I finally had my first chance to in college, where I heading over to Latvia for a few weeks. What an incredible time serving the Lord there.

I was sort of hooked at that point. I went on to join Youth with A Mission, Montana the following summer for a two month outreach to Latvia. Upon retuning home I realized that I was really called to serve overseas. I sent in an application to join Youth with A Mission, Montana in their Discipleship Training School, where I spent a 3 month outreach in the North of England. Towards the end of that time I really felt the Lord speak to me to stay in England, and continue the work I was doing. The doors started opening and things came together (as they do when the lord works).

After serving in England for three years with Youth with A Mission I returned to the south bay. After moving around here a bit I settled to working in the corporate world of banking in San Francisco. After a short stint of 2 years I felt the call again to go back to working within ministry. So here I am today.


A Few of My Favorite Things

Books - I read a lot of biographies and autobiographies. I particularly like ones of missionaries and Christian’s that have gone before us.

Travel - I jump at the chance to go and experience a new culture. Or even a road trip down hwy 1. Strange fact though, I’ve travelled all over Europe and bits of Asia, but have yet to go to Mexico or Canada.

Favorite movie - Depends on my mood, I think some great movies are In the name of the Father, To End all Wars, Goonies, Love Actually, Black Hawk Down, and of course LOTR’s.

Music - Currently playing in my car is a country mix, Juno soundtrack, Christ Tomlin, The Killers, and Snow Patrol.

What if you weren't in ministry?
"I’d be travelling the world… doing ministry."

What if you could spend time with any famous historical person?
"I think I’d like to chat with Abraham Lincoln. "
