Vitals

I was born in Billings Montana and grew up in the Pacific Northwest. My parents were in the ministry so my family of 6 moved around a bit. I was blessed to have been raised in a Christian home and to come to know Christ as my Lord and Savior at a young age. I met my husband Steve at Seattle Pacific University when we were both a part of the same worship band. We were married in July of 2004 and now enjoy living in San Jose. I love youth ministry and feel so blessed that my last 3 years have been filled with getting to love students and share the hope of Jesus Christ with them as my vocation.


A Few of My Favorite Things
Food: "I love dining at good restaurants with my husband. (Or attempting to cook together!)"


Traveling with my husband:  “I love seeing and experiencing new places, people and
cultures, I’ve been to: England, Mexico, Haiti, Japan, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Greece, Oman, Jordan and Israel. (I’d love to visit all 7 continents…well maybe not Antarctica)"

Sun: “Perfect down time for me is sitting in the sun with a good book!"

Books: “I enjoy reading Henri Nouwen, Philip Yancey, and books on youth ministry and
adolescent development. I also have a thing for mystery novels…"

Music: “I love jazz, country music and I am a NPR (national public radio) junkie."
