By God’s grace, Awakening will be the first expression of a WestGate church plant!
This really is a “church launching” or “re-potting,” and the idea is to launch the existing community of Awakening (18 –20 somethings) along with strategic generational missionaries (could this be you?!) from WestGate to a new location offsite and create a church that is focused on reaching this generation.

This is such an exciting time for our community as we see God birth a new church in our city & awaken new life to Him. Awakening Church will be officially launching in September in the Willow Glen area.

Jenny and I just wanted to thank our WestGate family for all of your prayers, support and encouragement.  We feel deeply indebted to you for the investment you have placed in us over the years.

We are excited and scared to death! [I believe that is the tension of what it means to walk by faith.]  And we can’t wait to see what God has in store for us and what He is going to do in and through us.  I just wanted you to know what a deep honor and privilege it is for us to get to be launching a church plant of WestGate and to be sent from our home church to advance His Kingdom.
