Are you ready to jump in and start serving at WestGate? There are lots of opportunities and there is bound to be something that fits your schedule, gifts and interest. Whether it’s playing a guitar or playing with little ones, waving at cars or hugging people, we offer you opportunities to serve that range from a few times a year to every week.
You wouldn’t marry someone without getting to know them first would you? Yeah, we wouldn’t either. So, we recommend you start with Discovery and get to know us then check out the opportunities here and feel free to contact any of the team leads to do a “test drive.”

Offered for 1st-5th grade students at Anderson Elementary July 30—Aug 3
Anderson is a Title 1 school, meaning there’s lots of low income families. During the summer, these kids are not doing much and tend to slide academically. We see this as an opportunity to meet the needs of a community head on, both spiritually and academically. SAM Camp (Science, Art, & Math Camp) provides: a safe and fun place to go, a 1 to 4 ratio making it easier to learn, and (most importantly!) the opportunity to learn about God’s plan for their lives.
