Each week, WestGate Church sends a team of volunteers into Anderson Elementary School to interact with kids after school.  Kids aged 5-12 years are open and hungry for love and for answers—so we respond by bringing the gospel to them in their schools and community.

The Purpose of Kids Club:

• To provide every child with the opportunity to be a follower of Jesus Christ.
• To form a deep relationship with each child.
• To develop and sustain a long-term mentoring relationship with the children and their families, and partner with local schools and the community surrounding them.

Our dedicated and experienced team of volunteers goes through a simple but thorough screening process.  We offer training and all the support materials a leader needs.  Many volunteers return year after year and continue to work with the same group of kids.  Men, women, grandparents, and college students can volunteer to be a group leader or co-leader on campus or be a part of the behind-the-scenes team.  Kids Club utilizes all types of gifts and skills contributed by caring adults including: crafts, sports, drama, publicity, administration, prayer, snack coordination, and more!
