Care Ministries
Christ called us to love one another.
The fast-paced culture we are immersed in gives little margin
for those that are facing periods of crisis, transition, or difficulty.
Families are often spread across the country or even the world.
Neighborhoods no longer provide the same support structure
they did in the past because life has become so busy.
When a crisis or challenge hits, many people have no one to
turn to and end up facing it alone. In these periods of life,
we as a body of believers can love one another by faithfully
listening, empathizing, praying with/for, and offering
encouragement to people who need Christ's love and care.
As Christ followers we may have come to believe that
everything in life should just "work out". The Christian
life seems like it should be the carefree life, with God
taking care of all of the details, removing obstacles, and
smoothing the path before us.Yet the reality is that our belief
in Christ doesn't remove us from this broken word, and often
we struggle. When we go through struggles in this life,
hard as this may be, we are not removed from God's
loving-kindness. It is in Christ that we find true healing
for all of our hurts.
