Pastoral Guidance
When you have spiritual, emotional, or relational questions or problems, sometimes it helps to talk to a pastor or counselor. WestGate provides limited pastoral guidance for those who need some help healing from the past or getting unstuck from the present.

Our pastors are trained in biblical theology and spiritual guidance. We’re not licensed therapists, so our scope is limited to spiritual guidance. If you have a need beyond our scope, we can assist you with referrals within the counseling community in the San Jose area.

We also offer pre-marital, marriage and other relationship mentoring at WestGate, using a program called Prepare/Enrich.

Premarital Mentoring
Couples are partnered with the trained mentor couple or individual that best fits their needs and personality. Together, they go through a program that is completely tailored to each couple’s specific needs, and that covers everything from finances to sex + affection. Our preference is to complete this program at least 4 months prior to the wedding date, so please let us know as soon as you get engaged to help us prepare for your needs!

Marital Mentoring
No car, no matter how great it is, will run well without regular maintenance. We feel that marriages are the same way. If your marriage is in need of a “tune-up” or even some heavy maintenance, please let us know. We work with couples to discover the areas of their relationships that need the most attention and equip you to transform your marriage.
