We all are disciples. A disciple is simply a person who follows and celebrates the teaching of someone they respect.  You may be a disciple of Oprah, a recognized professor, or a political figure.  We are all influenced by someone, and therefore live our lives differently because of that person’s influence.

In the Bible, Jesus says, “A student is not above his teacher, but anyone who is fully trained will become like his teacher.” (Luke 6:40) At WestGate, our teacher is Jesus and we want to follow and celebrate His teachings.  We hope you’ll join us on this journey of becoming a Six40 Disciple: someone who follows Jesus and desires to become more and more like Him.  Together we live this out by loving God, our neighbors and one another.
