One of the ways we practice Six40 Discipleship is through loving our neighbors (locally and globally) and loving one another (serving the Church body and caring for one another in small groups).  To assist you in these areas, we hope to provide you with some opportunities for you to serve together.

LOVING OUR NEIGHBORS: LOCAL

School Appreciation Dinner
WHAT: Moreland School District + 3 Santa Clara Schools
WHEN:  Friday, MAR 9 @ 6:30 pm (help needed as early as 5:30)
For the past 5 years, we have worked alongside the Moreland School District in San Jose with teacher supplies, campus makeovers, and after-school programs. Each month the Beautiful Day School Impact team serves the teachers with resources of things they run out of, or have somehow lost within their budget cuts. This year we are honoring the Moreland School District Employees (staff & teachers) and 3 schools in the Santa Clara School District with an Appreciation Night. The evening will be filled with games, dinner and laughter.
Your group can help with: Table Hosts*, Set up, Parking, Serving food, Clean up, Childcare. * Table hosts must be Six40

LOVING ONE ANOTHER:

Mexico [Grace Babies' Home]- Shower the new shelter for 20 babies with baby items, furnishings and pantry items. Shop at the Target Registry, donate nearly new items, sponsor a baby or become a financial partner! For more info contact Jane Breed.
